1. Easier Than It Looks Updo
This is one of my all-time favourite updos, and it’s perfect for mid-length to long hair. Recreate this knotted bun updo on yourself with dry shampoo, a comb, and lots of bobby pins!
2. Grecian Updo
The hair tuck or Grecian updo is one of the easiest hairstyles to do if you’re in a hurry. You’ll need a narrow, elasticized headband to tuck your hair into, and maybe a few bobby pins. So easy!
3. Curly French Braid Updo
If you have curly hair, this is the hairstyle for you. It’s elegant and easy to do, but also versatile enough to be worn to a formal event or just another day at the office.
4. 2-Minute Elegant Bun
She makes it look so easy! The trick to this is twisting and sectioning your hair, so you’ll need quite a few bobby pins and clips. Hmm…it looks a lot like one of Kate Middleton’s updos, don’t you think?
5. French Twist
You’ll have to try the French Twist, because it’s a classic. If you’ve always wondered how it’s done, check out this tutorial to learn how to do it yourself. I’ll let you in on a secret: it’s not as hard as it looks!
6. Mermaid Curly Hairstyle
No, you don’t need purple hair to do this one. The mermaid effect is achieved by creating a braid and loosening pieces here and there. You can try this on long or mid-length hair, but note that it won’t work on straight, layered hair.
7. Easy & Classy Side Updo
A cute side updo like this one is perfect for mid-length hair. If you don’t already have a bit of natural curl to your hair, create lazy waves with your straightener. From there, it will be much easier to pin. Enjoy!
8. Knotted Updo for Straight Hair
This is one of the easiest. Start off with your hair super straight, then section your hair off to roll it into individual little buns at the nape of your neck. When you’re done, it’ll look like you just got back from the salon.
9. Braided Roll
Before starting, you’ll need a “donut.” You can pick one up at the hair accessories section of your local drugstore. Gather your hair into a ponytail, slide the donut on, and start your braid on the side before wrapping it all the way around.
10. Easy Romantic Updo
This romantic updo is similar to the hair tuck, but it starts with a low ponytail. Pull a section of hair through so you have a “fold bun.” Next, tuck the whole thing up and under, and pin in place. Ta da!
